What we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

• Account information: your email address and password (handled by our authentication provider).
• Kid profiles: first names, approximate birthdays, and general interests you enter so we can suggest gifts and plan reminders.
• Friend profiles: first names, birthdays, interests, and which of your kids they belong to.
• Usage data: anonymized analytics via Google Analytics to help us improve the product.

How we use your data

We use your information to send birthday reminders, recommend age-appropriate gifts, power party-setup suggestions, and improve the app. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely by Supabase, our backend provider, using industry-standard encryption and access controls. We choose infrastructure providers that meet high security standards.

Email

Reminders and transactional emails are sent through Resend. You can opt out of reminder emails at any time from the email footer or by deleting the reminder in the app. Account-related emails cannot be disabled.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our marketing site. It uses cookies to collect anonymized traffic data. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Amazon affiliate disclosure

kids.gifts is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Product links may include an affiliate tag. If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

Payments

Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy and security standards.

Your rights

You can access, update, or delete your information at any time from within the app. You may also contact us to request deletion of your account and associated data.
